Ammonium persulfate is a strong oxidizing agent mainly used in producing persulphate and oxydol, and as polymerizing initiating agent in plastic industry, desizing agent in fibre industry, decolourize agent in lipidic industry, cauterant in electronic and food industry. It also is used to remove hyposulfite in photographic industry, in oil layer pressed crack during petroleum exploitation.
