2. HEALTH HAZARD INFORMATION
2.1 Health Effects - Acute Swallowed

2.3 First Aid
Swallowed
Contact a docotr or the immediately. Give 1-3 cups of water, induce vomiting (IPECAC syrup or stimulate throat with finger). Immediately transport to a hospital or doctor.
Eye
Flood eyes with water for 15 minutes - retract eyelids often. Immediately transport to a doctor or hospital.
Skin
Remove all contaminated clothing including footwear. Wash affected areas thoroughly with mild soap and water. If conditions persists, contact a doctor or the .
Inhaled
Remove from containated area immediately; avoid becoming casualty. If not breathing apply artificial resuscitation, experienced persons may administer oxygen if breathing if difficult. Immediately transport to a hospital or doctor.
First Aid Facilities
Ensure an eye bath and safety shower are available and ready for use.
2.5 Advice to Doctor
Symptomatic treatment only. Persons who have inhaled fumes produced in a fire may not show immediate symptoms. Patients should be kept under medical observation for at least 48 hours.

4.3 Spills and Disposal
Spills

Contain with sand or dirt. Shovel into plastic film bags. Add/mix small portions of material to excess water in an open vessel. Cover/mix with soda ash or slaked lime. Neutralise with 6M-HCl if basic / 6M-NaOH if acidic. If material is not contaminated reuse the material. DO NOT wash untreated material down the drain or sewer.
Disposal
For SMALL quantities - contact Local Waste Disposal Authority before you dispose of to the sewer with a large quantity of water. For LARGE quantities - contact Local Waste Disposal Authority before you add sludge to landfill.
